Partition Magic problem

I bought Linux Mandrake 6.5 and I'm trying to set up a Linux partition with the version of Partition Magic that comes in the box, but Windows NT keeps giving me a Dr. Watson error for _INS0432_MP.exe when I try to make a boot-up disk.  It keeps repeating even after installing SP 3.  Should I give up and try to use FIPS?  I don't have any available space or partitions on my hard drive.  Thanks.

Are you using an LS120?

Hi Pete.  What's an LS120?
are you trying to create a boot disk that is similar to dos/win95? you can't do that on nt, the nt os is different from dos/win95, for you case, its easier to use a dos/win95 boot disk and then run partition magic or fips
