error:MSADODC.OCX or its dependencies missing

I am having some problems in making an exe file from a program-code in Visual Basic.
When I am making an exe file its running from the current platform but as soon as I am trying to move it to different machine its not even executing and when I am double clicking it to run it gives me the followign error message:

Component "MSADODC.OCX" or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

Please let me know what should I do

Thanks for your time

You need to create a setup program to install your program and all of its dependencies (runtime files, OCXs, DLLs) on the target machine.

In VB5 run the Application Setup Wizard
In VB6 it is called Package and Deployment Wizard

VB Books Online also has a step-by-step explanation of how to create your setup program.

Try searching Books Online for "Setup Wizard" or "Deployment."  It has a pretty good step-by-step.

Where is the website for books online

Erick37Commented:
Books Online is a reference which comes with VB.  It should be installed already.  Click the Help menu in VB and there should be a Books Online menu item.
