List of ASCII characters

Hello,

  I need a complete list of ASCII characters for all keystrokes. The one I really need is the Backspace key. Looked in help on delphi 3 but it only named three or four codes. I also looked on the web and found some list the shows all the code of letters and numbers but they did not give a complete list. Thats it.

Thanks,

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What you can do is drop a memo on a blank form

then in this event do the following:

procedure TForm1.Memo1KeyDown(Sender: TObject; var Key: Word;
  Shift: TShiftState);
begin
  showmessage(inttostr(key));
end;

you should see backspace is 8
which means you can use chr(8) or #8 to reproduce it

the qbasic help file has a complete listing of all ascii codes including the extended ones ..
if you have qbasic that is..
or look in windows.pas for list of the vk_keys (backspace is vk_back) or (08 in ascii)
