ACAD into Delphi ??

I need to capture ACAD's dwg file into Delphi application in the way that I can get informations about lines in it discribed with points x y and z. Is there a program which can transform dwg or other (ACAD export) kind of file into something I could use; or maybe someone can tell me the structure of  ACAD dwg file - header etc.

Don't expect it to be cheap !
Go to http://www.dbcad.com
Their DbCAD dev package does just that.
It's implemented as ActiveX componet and
works with Delphi.

Well, yes Their DbCAD dev package does a lot more then just that. But that is not what I am searching. I can not afford to buy a jumbo jet to get a shaft of it's gear (or one function out of their package). I appreciate your answer but I can't help myself with it. Can you help me with more acceptible info?
Tomasz,

any chance that you convert the dwg file to dxf (or can you export the data from autocad into a dxf file)? If yes then you can use a freeware dxf loader/viewer component (comes with sources).

Give me your eMail address and I send it to you.

Hi Mike

Yes autocad can give me a dxf file, so I think I could use your proposition. Seems that this could be the solution. Please send me that freeware dxf loader/viewer component with sources on my E-mail: <tomaz.blazic@siol.net>
