tiff icons missing?

Today I uninstalled micrografx picture publisher 6.0. When I was done I realized I had no icons for my tiff files, just those wavy windows generic icons. Everything works fine otherwise. I opened the files into Photoshop resaved as a tiff and still no icons. It's not a big deal, but it bothers me and I want icons.
Thank you very much.
PS. I cannot reinstall Picture Publisher, I no longer have it.

The file association of "tiff" has been removed during the uninstall of micrografx,

Try to go to Start-Settings-Folder options,File types,
Search down the file types list
TIF Image Document , extension TIFF
TIF Image Document , extension TIF

Select it and click the [edit] button on the right hand side, click the [Change Icon], then select your desired.

If you cannot find any TIF and TIFF file types, use windows explorer to find your *.tif file created by your photoshop, right click it.  Select "open with" , then select open with photoshop.

The file association is created.

Go back to the start-folder options -file types to check the tif file if it is now associated with photoshop and there is any icon associated with.

Let me know any of your findings.     pslh
