Prevent listbox search

I have a listbox for which I've handled the "search by keystroke" utility myself.
Now, how can I disabled the default search utility associated with listboxes for it to stop to interfere with my search, making all the thing looks kinda silly!?

If you use the unbound list box it doesn't have the matching ability...however you need to fill it with the additem method.

That's exactly what I have...
And that's exactly what I've done.
Handle the keypress event on the list box and set the parameter keyascii to 0.  This stops the listbox processing the key.

You could do your processing first, and when you are over remember to set the parameter value to 0.  Try it, it works quite well.
