how can i change default lilo? How can i check version of Linux?

I installed lilo use Win98 for default but i need to change to Linux.  How can i do that. This is /etc/lilo.conf  What line i need to change?  Or i have to reinstall lilo and how?

boot=/dev/hda5
map=/boot/map
install=/boot/boot.b
prompt
timeout=50
other=/dev/hda/
  label=dos
  table=/dev/hda
image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.2.5.15
  label=linux
  root=/dev/hda5
  read-only

ONE MORE QUESTION is what command can i check version of Linux?

Just move the linux image lines (starting with "image=/boot. . .")
to be the first image (directly after "timeout=50" - where the "other=/dev/hda" is now.  Everything above that is a global setting.).
 
That's it. The first image is the default.

Then re-run lilo to install the new boot image.
