How to make a label control visible over a VB5 Flexgrid

I have a Flexgrid on which i wish to place multi-line tooltips.
My research indicates that I cannot do the with the standard
tooltip and that I must manipulate a label control to do this.
How can I make a label control visible over a VB5 Flexgrid and
     not behind it.

user the Frame control.
put the label inside the frame control.
if you wish the frame to be invisible set it's BorderStyle property to "0-None".

now the frame, and the label, can go over the grid and behind it as you wish.

I hope this helps,
