Taskbar Position

My kids were playing on my PC and my Windows taskbar now appears on the right side instead of the bottom. How do I get it back on the bottom of the window?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Simply place the mouse over a "blank" portion of the taskbar, left-click and hold then drag the taskbar to the bottom of the screen.

Click and hold (do not let it off) to the taskbar and simply drag it down to the bottom.

Yvonnesoo - it is considered bad etiquette to post an answer before the person asking the question accepts a comment as a solution.  The asker then has the option to accept the comment as the correct answer or have an expert repost his or her comment as an answer.
When posting an answer, the question becomes locked to all others.

Nothing against yvonnesoo, but If I understand this contest correctly, blueforce should be given points. He answered my question first (11/13 @ 7:22). The answer was very simple and direct to the point. It may have been a very easy one, but it still warrants the points be given to blueforce.

Thanks

daveinsa,

You are correct. You can accept blueforce's comment as the correct answer. That way he/she doesn't need to post as an answer.

yvonnesoo,

No problem. Some of us "oldies" are very punchy about premature question posting. Now you are aware.
