I'm having an intermittant problem with my Samsung 32x cdrom. Many times it just won't access the disk in the drive, saying path not found or device not accessable. Control panel says the device is working properly and somtimes running the lens cleaner seems to make it accessable. Any recommendations?

Could be lens contamination beyond what the lens cleaner is able to cleanup. It could also be a lens focus or position servo problem.  In any case the easiest (and probably least expensive) solution is to replace the drive.
