Suggestions for deprecated functions

Some source code (not my own) uses several deprecated functions, which I believe to be causing some problems when using the applet with IE.  The deprecation option only suggests I check the documentation.  I have no documentation so suggestions on where to find some would be appreciated.  In the mean time, the following functions are used (and deprecated):

java.awt.Dimension size()
boolean mouseUp(java.awt.Event, int, int)
boolean mouseMove(java.awt.Event, int, int)

Any ideas?

Documentation for the 1.1 jdk can be found at:

The site also contains documentation for 1.02 and 2 (1.2).

Deprecated functions should still operate correctly.
