Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Can you read a CD properly in the drive?

I believe that you are out of luck until a driver is written.  But wait for other feedback.

I have the same problem with my Yamaha CD-R with an Symbios Logic SCSI Controller.
The problem is not the driver from the CD-R, it's the ASPI-Driver for your Controller that makes that problem. If you have an Adaptec Controller just download the newest ASPI from Adaptec. When you have an SymbiosLogic (As i), try the "wnaspi.dll" from the Internet and put it into the \winnt\system.
