Where am I running from?

I have a page with two frames(left and right).  Clicking on buttons in the left frame dynamicaly builds some HTML that populates the right frame.

The new HTML in the right frame also contains a button that should execute some CGI, but I am unable to execute any CGI from the right frame.

If I try to reference the cgi that is supposed to be executed from the dynamic HTML that populated the right frame, it doesn't work.  I get the error message that "the page cannot be displayed".

If I copy the source of the dynamic HTML and create a new page and open it up outside of the frameset, I can execute the CGI just fine.

I am testing this on Personal Web Server.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Try specifying the full path to your cgi like

http://www.mydomain.com/cgi-bin/myscript.cgi

Does this help?
