What's code to silence Modem

What is the code to put in the initialization string of the modem to prevent it from making any noise when dialing/connecting?

(And what is the value to get it to continuously make noise?)

So I would just put these strings into the initialization string?  It doesn't require (for example):

Sx=L0  (where x is a digit or 2)?
put them in the extra setting box
Go into your modem properties, click on the connection tab, then click on the advanced button
