Initiate a Communication Using OS Calls.

I recently used NT OS to create a communication on a client server applications(using Socket( ), bind( ), listen ( ) , send( ) ...).
I need to the the same on unix using the OS calls.
Please give me a full example showing how to initiate this communication

i dont think i can give u a full example ..
but to use these just # include the following headers..
sys/types.h
sys/socket.h
netinet/in.h
u can look at the man pages of these system calls for more details..
