It's not possible to use a WinModem in Linux since the work of the winmodem isn't done by the HARDWARE, but rather by the modem's driver.  Since there isn't a WinModem driver for your modem for linux, you're out of luck.   I would recommend an inexpensive hardware modem.

The problem is that Winmodems have no brains. The count on the processor to handle all tasks for them and all functions are done in hardware.

A couple of people have written drivers for very popular winmodems I have never seen yours on that list. Realy modems are cheap and you really don't want to put that kind of load on your processor anyway.  Shanselman is correct.

yeah, you're right! i've been reading around about the subject and there's no possibility for it.

Since your answer is right I guess the points are yours...

Well, it's not impossible, but it is a really bad idea. Like I said, a FEW drivers have been written for very popular modems, but *I* would not put one on my systems. When you can get a decent 56K modem with voice for $30 US (or a US Robotics for about $50 US), that Winmodem is just not worth the trouble.
