chroot expert question

hi,

this what i had done manually:

add the /./
user1:x:500:500:user1:/home/user1/./:/bin/ftponly

I try ftp, but i still can go up the directory /home  

Hope some one give me a hand

ozo: /bin/ftponly will be a script/binary denying access (hopefully it is an unbreakable binary :)

bsher: you missed to configure your "guest ftp user/group" in your ftp server's configuration file.

now i would like to umask ,

All ftp file to /home/user/ , the file permission is 777

How to do that?

well: you inserted an upload directive, didn't you? if so, the last parameter to it is what you need.
