MBR virus?
i am convinced my pc has a master boot record virus sinces I have run a number of disk utilites on it and they all say the MBR contains invalid infomation. When I try to install NT using the setup disks it gets as far as loading the FAT drivers then hangs (ive tried different setup disks). I also formatted the drive with differend (mainly) seagate software. Pls help.

I think you should try antyvirus program
FDISK /MBR will recreate the master boot record.
FDISK will allow you to delete the partitions and recreate them.
Formatting the drive is not as effective as doing FDISK first.
