Compaq Prolinea 4/50

Are Compaq motherboards replaceable?  They were giving old computers away at work.  Can this be upgraded with new components?  Is it a doorstop?  I would like to be able to extend its life for a student.

Thanks.

Thank you for the prompt response.  I did get this free and do not mind spending some money to get it to work.  The educational aspect has some value for me.  If satwa has more information, please let me know.

Thank you.

Dan

Thank you.  For another 50 pts, What about the BIOS?  Y2K, you know.  I haven't even tried to contact Compaq.  I am doing just great with you, so far.

Thanks again.

Dan.
