Audio compression in Adobe Premiere

Hi,
I'm in the process of making an .avi animation...I've just added the sound but, when I try to export it as a movie, it gives me an error: "An error occured while making the movie. -1". But, when I export the movie with the audio setting set to uncompressed, it works fine, but the .avi file is huge. The error only comes when the audio setting is set to some codecs like "MPEG Layer-3 codec" or "Indeo audio software". How do I get my audio compressed.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. I've had the same problem with adobe premiere

you can either get the 5.1 upgrade which solves many bugs.

or you can choose a different audio compresion codec.

MSN audio is one i'd recommend in that it has the fewest problems

set the interleave frequency to 1 frame.

well that's about it!

Good luck!

This question was awarded, but never cleared due to the JSP-500 errors of that time.  It was "stuck" against userID -1 versus the intended expert whom you awarded.  This corrects the problem and the expert will now receive these points; points verified.
