I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi RodneyYeo,

something like this:

CWnd* pWnd = AfxGetMainWnd(); // i.e. use it for your application's main window
pWnd->ModifyWindow( WS_CAPTION, 0, SWP_FRAMECHANGED );

hope that helps,

ZOPPO

Hi RodneyYeo,

Zoppo meant that function as ModifyStyle()

Try it out. It works.

Hi, Sorry for rejecting your answer. I need some clarification. I've created a CMainframe that inherits from CFrameWnd.
Where should I put your code in. Under PreCreateWindow() or OnCreate(). Thanks :)

Hi,

U can't put that code in both of those functions!!!.
What U can do is,

In OnCreate() function in mainframe, set the timer before returning

this->SetTimer(1, 20, NULL);

Then map the WM_TIMER message to that class and put the following code in it before calling the base class function

   this->ModifyStyle( WS_CAPTION, 0, SWP_FRAMECHANGED );
   this->KillTimer(1);

That should work. Try it out.

I think Zoppo would not mind it, anyway, it's just points. Thanks anyway for the help of both of you :)
