Question for Mike Lischke - TreeNT component

Mike:

I've decided to use your TreeNT component in my program, but have some questions about it.  Should I ask them here, or what should I do?

For example, when I select multiple items [click, shift-click] what looks like check boxes are showing up beside the items.  I do not want this to happen.

This component may be used in a commercial product.  Do you have any problem with this?  If so, I may need to discontinue use of the component, since I'm not authorized to purchase any components right now.

Thanks so much,

Tom

Hi Tom,

as I wrote on my homepage TreeNT can now be used anywhere, even in commercial products for free. So you don't need to care about licences. The only thing I request for the use of TreeNT is that my name/eMail address appears somewhere the user can see it (about box, documentation, whatever...).

To clarify your questions I'd suggest that we talk privately (publish@lischke-online.de). If you can wait a few weeks then I'd suggest that you wait until my virtual treeview implementation is out. This one blows out the brain of everyone's head and ashames Microsoft for giving away such an unready and terrible control like the system treeview (on which also TreeNT is based!) :-)

Ciao, Mike

This question was awarded, but never cleared due to the JSP-500 errors of that time.  It was "stuck" against userID -1 versus the intended expert whom you awarded.  This corrects the problem and the expert will now receive these points; points verified.
