asked on

i want to build a comics studio

Hello my name is Tal , and I am building a comics studio ,with Visual Basic
And I really need help in the following subjects:

1) How can I display an image (like a picture of a man  bmp picture) on a form that already
contain a background picture, in a way that the image will be display on the form without
his own background  ,or that the image will be  display on the form with a transparent background
so I can see the image and the picture on the form like it is a one picture.
2)  Are they are some “Already made ActiveX “ that I can use with my comics programming
in the subject of multimedia or in the subject of  stretching a bmp pictures to the size and the
      angle that I want to.
3)  Are they are another things  that I can use in my programming ,or that can help me .

I know that I am asking  you  a lot of questions ,but I really need  your help.
I appreciate if you will help me.
Thank you very much…..TAL ELEMELECH.  

You could try the image control in the Microsoft Forms 2.0 Object Library.  You can add it to a project by right-clicking on the toolbox and selecting "Components...", then select it from the list.

This control allows transparent backgrounds and stretching (It does not support angles)

Cheers!
You could also try bitblting. But you must know how to use the API. It's quite troublesome, but does the job well.
