title in javascript alert box

When an error comes up in a javascript alert box can the title be changed in a property?  When an error comes up I do not want the normal title to be displayed I would like it to be what I want it to be.

TIA

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Not that I know of.
You might be able to do this on vbscript msgbox function, but not in javascript.

If your target is IE only then this might be worth a look.

Otherwise, your other option is to make your own pop up box using window.open

Or make your own:

Then use the onError event to call to showdialog():

window.onError=showdialog();

Go to this question and see my comment there. It isn't possible to change the properties like icon and title of an alert box, but you can make your own, see here :
