C++ for Newbies

I've been preogramming in VB for a couple of years.  I'm starting this new job in febuary and I need to know a bit about C and C++.  The problem is I know nothin about this language.  Does any of you know a great site for where I could get started.  For now I have Borlan C++ 4.5  should I get another version or is this one good to get started.  I need to start from the VERY beginning.
