Problem w/Photoshop 5.5

I don't know it is my display driver problem or the photoshop 5.5's problem, because when I have connected to the internet, and opened photoshop 5.5, and do something, like select the 800x600 picture or something like that, it will just frozen, I must restart the machine in order to re-do the stuffs again without connecting. It seems ok if I do it offline. So what's happen?
