Wallpaper file

This is trivial, but I saved an image from Netscape Communicator as background wallpaper in Win95. I'd like to save this image as a file (it has sentimental value for me!), but I can't find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Metajag

Go in the windows directory, and look for the bmp files in there. In Internet Explorer the file is saved as:

Internet Explorer Wallpaper.bmp

May be you will have to look for something like:
Netscape Communicator Wallpaper.bmp

Once the file found, rename it and put it anywhere you want to. This will prevent Netscpe to change this file the next time you save an image as background wallpaper.

Good luck, Calacuccia
An even better thing to do next time you surf on The Internet and sees a picture you want, right click with your mouse over the picture in your browser that you want to save, then coose "save image as..". Then you can save it in any format you want, JPG is a better and  takes less space on your harddrive.

A little tips from Soderkisen!
