2 Important Questions

1.) What is /usr/bin/moc and where can I download it?

2.) I just upgraded to kernel 2.2.9 and now none of my ethernet cards are working (yes I did compile the drivers). What is wrong? All the things that are supposed to be there: /etc/conf.modules and an append="... in /etc/lilo.conf (yes I ran lilo).

/usr/bin/moc is the code prepocessor for the Qt (TrollTech) graphical interface library.  On a Debian Linux system, the packages that provide it are libqt1g and libqt2, depending on whether you need it for code using the old library or the new.  I don't know what package names other distributions would have.

You can also download the source for it yourself from TrollTech directly at:

http://www.troll.no/dl/

but they might only be supporting libqt2 now, I'm not sure.

As for the kernel question, I would advise first attempting to upgrade to kernel 2.2.13 and see if the problem persists.  If it does, try compiling the ethernet card drivers internal to the kernel as opposed to a module.  The other thing to check is whether the module .o files in question are actually in /lib/modules/2.2.9.
