what is the mathord to capture the screen into a "JPG" format file?

Now i want to capture the screen into a "jpeg"format file.because the "jpeg" file is small enough to fit the hard disk.A month ago,i capture the screen into a "BMP" format file , the speed is about two frame per second.but it is too
big to store into the disk.so i want to
capture the screen into jpg format file.
the captured time is about half a hour.
can you help me?

First cpture screen to BMP format. It is fast operation. Than make one thread with own queue and set any Your bitmap to it. Your thread must convert in background BMP to JPG. If You want  there is a some links for

I have thought of this mathord .vc6.0 have its own lib to process the dib format image. if convert the dib file to  jpg file background .the speed is a big problem. so i should find a better methord to capture the screen to jpg file directly!
