DTpicker Backcolorproperty

I can change the colors off the calendar, but can I also change the backcolor of the DTpicker-box on the form?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

DT Picker doesn't have the property to set the back color of the control

Isn't it possible with any API?

I dont know about a API, but I think it could be done with VC++, as Ive seen a lot of documentation of such controls and how they are implemented internally in MSDN

I have made a custom control in VB 6.0 based on FlexGrid control that mimicks the DTPicker control. If u wish I could post it to u in return of points with source code. It supports the setting of back color of specific dates. It also is better then DTPicker in this context as DTPicker just gives you an array of numbers and you have to determine if you want to set it bold or not. This control of mine, actually gives u two options, one through an method like this : deescal.SetDateBackColor(vDate as date)

and an event that is very much like dtPickers GetDayBold event :

Private Sub DeesCal_MonthYearChange(mStartDate as Date, mEndDate as Date)
'here you can check if you want to highlight specific dates if they fall withing the start and end dates easily.
End Sub
