32meg. no? (desperate)

My (FIC PA-2013 board) web site FAQ states that it will accept a 16 meg. AGP card, but not a 32meg. The user's manual mentions nothing about it. It's a brand new m.board, and FIC doesn't tell me why. Will it screw it up??? I have a Diamond Stealth 32meg. v-card. FIC.com won't help me.

Hi!

The reason why your FIC mainboard isn't working with your 32mb AGP card is because the revision of your board. If your'e using the 2.0 FIC PA-2013 Mainboard it will work excellent. I've heard from a friend, and he thinks it would work great with Revision 1.0 also.

Good Luck!

32 meg. cards seem to be pretty standard for hi-end performance (as advertised for the board- 1meg.cache!)?

I doubt that your video card will screw anything up.  The motherboard will just not be able to see more than 16mb.  If you install it, it should act like any 16mb card.

Hi Again!

Try to install a newer and better ALI AGP driver for your board.
The it should work with revision 1.0 too.

Good Luck again!
