"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

On selection from the first combobox, you need to set a filter for the query which builds your second combobox and rebind the second one.

If your queries are something like

"select BuildingName from Buildings"
"Select RoomName From Rooms Where Building = '" & dbcombobox1.text & "'"

you would put the second in the click event of the first combobox and then

Will update the second combo.

use to data controls named data1 and data2.

now in the data1 reposition()vent give the code;
data2.recordsource="Select RoomName From Rooms Where Building = '" & dbcombobox1.text & "'"
