changing screen resolution

i have successfully installed linux mandrake 6.1 - KDE looks stunning but i need to change the resolution - someone suggested xconfigurator - i serahced high and low all over -- where is this thing and how do i run it?

but,  you can also try XF86Setup:

XF86Setup is not installed by defualt... you need to add it manually.... but it's on your CD

both are standar apps. to help you to configure X.
