"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

i'm not sure i understand

anything in excel can be deleted by higlighting the cell and hitting delete.  if there is an equation for the cell, you might have to delete it in the cell contents field below the toolbars
Hi Hendrick,

As 1cell, anything in Excel can be deleted, unless the workbook/worksheet is protected.

To undo protection you need to know the password, if you don't, you can always try the blank (no password)

To se if there is a protection Tools/Protection
If you see any unprotect, there is a protection.

If you're talking bout hyperlinks in Excel, you can't select the cell with left mouse button, but you can get the Win-Popup menu with right mouse button and normally, you should find delete in this menu.

Hope this helps, Calacuccia

P.S. If not, clarification please
Go to your excel, the one which you want to remove the links.
Select Edit -> Links...
Delete whatever that's not needed.

hope this helps.
