emailing forms

I want to have my form email me (or specified user) when someone clicks on the submit button. I don't want it to access their email program. And I want the information to be in some format without all the extra symbols. I am using front page mostly....but my server at present is not front page friendly.

Do you have access to a cgi-bin?

If you do, i recommend a simple template based form emailer.

You can find it at http://www.worldwidemart.com/scripts/formmail.shtml

It is template based, which means you create a template that corresponds to your form. Its pretty simple once you get the hang of it.

If you just want to get rid of the extra characters use this
<FORM ACTION="mailto:your@email.com" METHOD="POST" enctype="text/plain">

then use these kind of inputs for tags
<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="Form Name">
<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="other">
<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="info">

What you'll get is something like this
Order Form=
=
Name=
Address=
City/State/Zip=
Phone#=
Start=
End=
choice=No
