"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This is not an assignment for me.  It's for my youngest son.  Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated.
1) vsbCurrent.Value = vsbCurrent.Min
2) What do you mean "fast option button"?? First?
optCurrent(0).value = True
3)Dim i as long
Dim j as long
for i = 0 to 2
  if opt3Way(i).value then
     j = i
  end if
next i
select case j
case 0:
  lblstatus.caption = "One"
case 1:
  lblstatus.caption = "Two"
case 2:
  lblstatus.caption = "Three"
end select
4) optThing(0).value = False
5) optThing(1).value = True

I'm going to lock this since I think I got 'em all but maybe #2. If you'd like to explain that one I'd be happy to finish it.

Actually I think this is what u want for #3

Private Sub Opt3Way_Click(Index As Integer)
    Select Case Index
    Case 0:
        lblstatus.Caption = "One"
    Case 1:
        lblstatus.Caption = "Two"
    Case 2:
        lblstatus.Caption = "Three"
    End Select
End Sub
Also, you say "activate" under #2. Do you mean enable or select??
If first, enable
optCurrent(0).enabled = true
