SMapLS function in kernel32.dll

I found some functions in kernel32.dll eg. SMapLs,FT_Exit,FT_Thunk series. but when I went to look for their reference,I found nothing. Could you tell me what they functions and where to get their details?

They are undocumented. You should avoid using them because they are subject to change in the future version of Windows.

It seems that these functions is used to map the text on the screen,doesn't it? How to get the map of text currently displayed on the screen?

i.e. Where are the chracters of the text displayed on the screen stored? how to get them from my application?

No way. It is up to the applications how to store the text.
