"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

When I installed my Win98 upgrade I chose to save my Win95 configuration so that It could be restored.  From your question I assume that you do not have this option.  I believe that windows does not willingly allow you to downgrade 98 to 95 and keep your registry settings.  I will keep an eye on your question to see if someone knows a way to trick 98 into doing this.

No, I was not able to restore the Win95. Your answer did make perfect sense. So I reformated...installed Win95  saved my Win95 configuration in case this situation came up again. I have a greeting card program and several other programs that run fine in Win95 but not Win 98 and am not sure why yet...Thanks for the help.
