Remote Xterm

I want do telnet to a Linux pc from other Linux pc  and i want run a xapplication remotely. I set the DISPLAY environment variable as  my_ip:0, but when  i run the remote xapplication the system say me Can't open display. And in my pc the DISPLAY NAME is :0 and i want change it to my_ip:0, i think that this is the problem.
How do i configure linux (X Windows) for run remote Xapplication ?.

When you "set DISPLAY", this means "draw on the specified
display". But if this was the only step, anyone could
draw on anyone else's display. So you must have permission to draw on someone else's screen.

So try this:

(the one that is giving permission)
enter "xhost +" (+ means everyone has permission
to draw on your screen. You can restrict to just a
single or a few machines if you want.)
