Dennis - Dew - for your help on http://homepages.msn.com/PetsPl/astaec/

Thanks, Dennis, for your help on the Wav file on my Pets page to see how slow it loaded and what your setup.

If you've also been able to view it using Netscape (which I don't want to isntall/invoke now to test), I'll up this to a whopping 100 points; all versus the initial 30 offering.

Thanks, Dennis.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Asta, thank you, but this is not necessary. Somethings are done as a professional courtesy and this is one of them. Please withdraw this question and "Make my day" <grin>

Dennis,

Professional courtesy aside, and thank you for that!  You deserve points and an "A" grade from people who know the VALUE OF ONE and most importantly, you deserve pay for your outstanding performance.  You've never let me down.  Although this is a highly competitive environment (go figure why, it's not like we can go spend the money), and I've felt the bite of many a competitor, you've never been one of them, even though you're top dog on rankings (so to speak).

You're top notch in the 'out there world' and deserve all these HUGE (tsk tsk) points X 4 for the A.

Thanks for your insight, help and ongoing caring.  I'll watch the other thread for how you managed to convert or think I may be able to convert the  WAV to MID.

Best wishes once again,

Asta that German, yodelling, purring, meowing and computer-shmumptuter stuttering gal

You've "made my day", by taking the extra step to check my site at http://homepages.msn.com/PetsPl/astaec/
to provide some benchmark #s for me, thanks a ton.

Also, although I never want to disappoint anyone, believe you were being most gentlemanly in your proposal to withdraw, and I do want to make your day, but not without pay.

Thank you.

Asta
