source code

I purchased LINUX MANDRAKE 6.0 on CD.
Installed fine. Does the source code come on the CD?
I need to reconfigure the kernel to work with my RealTek 8019 ISA PnP Lan Adapter.
I currently have no access to "make menuconfig".
The operating system does not come with a driver for this adapter.
I have disabled the PnP on the card. I am running a dula boot.

you dont need to recompile your kernel with that support for that network card

your network card is a NE 2000 emulator
try that driver
it might work it might not
you might have to enter some opions for it to work proply

Thanks,
That is exactly what I was looking for. I was, however, able to get my network card to work by disabling the PnP, then in the module.conf, I set the irq, and IO to match what I was using on Win. I am also using DHCPcd, which works fine now. The module driver that works for this (rtl8019 ISA PnP) is ne.

Thanks again...
Thanks strike...
That is exactly what I had ended up doing. I just needed to have the right driver module, module.conf info.

Thanks again.
