How to share a JavaScript between HTML pages ?

I have two pages that have to use the same JavaScript.

How can I put it in a file and call it from both of them ?

Put your Javascript routines in a file with a js extension, then in each of your html files say something like

<script language="JavaScript" src="myRoutines.js">
