Epson printer driver installation problem

I am trying to install driver of Epson Stylus color 660 printer driver to my IBM PC that has 12MB RAM and running on win95.. After successfully installing, the PC just hangs and whenever something is printed to this printer the following error message is shown:

- Cannot Link Common resource DLL
- EBAPI initialize error

and another empty message box where I click on OK.

The printing however works.. I searched on the net and found various solutions that didn't work for me:

a) Making the LPT as normal and not EPP. Eventhough I made in BIOS, the LPT as normal, win95 insists on recognizing this as EPP. I have even tried copying the suggested lpt.vxd to system directory.

b) To not use Epson's spooler. I don't seem to find a way to do this...

Any clue?
