I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

How can I get Multiple users on Linux?
You can as long as you didn't delete or overwrite
your Windows boot partition during the Linux install.
LILO allows you to choose which partition to boot from.
Type 'man lilo' from the Linux console for help.

Use the 'useradd' or 'adduser' command with Red Hat to add users.  You must be root to add or remove users.
You could also edit '/etc/passwd' and '/etc/group' directly,
but that's not recommended for a beginner.
Type 'man passwd' and 'man group' for more info.
