Link from an Applet to a HTML wep page

JAVA
I'm using Visual Cafe to create an educational JAVA applet. I want to link indivdual locally stored pages to the applet.  So that a person could hit a button or click a link and the win 9X or NT OS would automatically open up the default browser and display the page.  Any suggestions?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Well SayYeah2 what you need to do is incorporate this in your code:

To tell the browser to open a page use the showDocument method.  The least complicated way is to use it with a single argument (e.g.)

URL u = new URL("http://www.jointhetribe.com");
getAppletContext().showDocument(u);

Now this will open up in the same web page.  You can tell the browser to to open a new page by using the "_blank" page argument.
