URGENT: Vertical refresh rate

How do I get the vertical refresh rate for Windows 9x? I know how to it under Windows NT, but the API doesn't work under Windows 95.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I have written a component that does that: TASSysInfo (no jokes with the name please!).

The component retrieves the video's vertical refresh rate both under Windows NT and under Windows 95/98 (haven't tested with Windows 2000).

If you're running Delphi 3.02, you can download the component separately from the AS PowerTools page. If you're using Delphi 4.03 you must download the package AS OmniTools and install the whole package (which includes other cool components).

Sources are not included, but available under request ($$).

Your component works, but I want to get the source code for it. How (where) can I have the source code?

Glad to know that. So, how about grading this question now?

Alex,

According to our agreement (done via e-mai), I am increasing the points to this question in exchange for the sources of the component.

SO that everybody knows, Alex has agreed to send me the sources (which he's already done) for his shareware component in exchange for points instead of money. That's why I am increasing the amount of points to this questions to a value we both agreed on and which I believe is fair due to the great functionality of his component.

Thank you again, Alex and have a merry christmas.
