I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi Kanagaraj,

Right-click on the desktop,

goto tabs 'Effects' (I don't know if name is correct, but should be 4th tab starting from the left)

Click button 'Other pictogram' and choose whatever you want.

That's how it goes in Windows 98, as far as I remember it's the same in 95, tomorrow I'll check at work.

Hope this helps,

Yeah, in win95 it's a bit different. Changing the icons was done via a PLUS! Tab in display properties. Usually to get this you needed to buy the plus! pak 95, hack the registry, or some a program that did that... BUT microsoft was nice enough to provide just this tab for free. MS did it so you can use the smooth fonts that was also on this tab but they just provided the whole tab.
