How do I make it so my program doesn't show up in the control alt delete dialog box?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This only works for Win95/98, not NT

Private Declare Function RegisterServiceProcess Lib "kernel32" _
    (ByVal dwProcessId As Long, ByVal dwType As Long) As Long
Private Declare Function GetCurrentProcessId Lib "kernel32" () As Long
Const RSP_SIMPLE_SERVICE = 1
Const RSP_UNREGISTER_SERVICE = 0

Private Sub Form_Load()
'Disable Ctrl - Alt - Del:
Dim pid As Long
pid = GetCurrentProcessId()
Call RegisterServiceProcess(pid, RSP_SIMPLE_SERVICE)
End Sub

Private Sub Form_Unload(Cancel As Integer)
'Enable Ctrl - Alt - Del:
Dim pid As Long
pid = GetCurrentProcessId()
Call RegisterServiceProcess(pid, RSP_UNREGISTER_SERVICE)
End Sub

No, I don't want to disable control alt delete, I just don't want my program to show up in the list when you press control alt delete.

It should be hide your vb program from task list (exactly like you want)

It won't disable CTRL+ALT+DEL
