Problem reading dBase file using the MS XBase Data Engine

I used FileMon to make a complete list of Dlls used by my application, and added them to my package for deployment on a client machine.  However, FileMon is showing me that some calls are handled on the client machine, by DLLs not in my package.  I suspect that there may be a problem somewhere in those other DLLs, and would like all procedure calls originating from my package to be handled by the DLLs in my package, but I don't want to uninstall anything from the client machine.

Can I do that?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I got this one!
You don't mention that it is for help in another question. The "standard" approach is to entitle it something like "Points for..." and just put something like "This is for your help in question...". This way it doesn't look like something sneaky is going on, especially in my case: I didn't have an actual answer (and still don't).

Anyway, glad I could help get you going where you needed to be!
