Kill on uxix, with pid need an answer VERY FAST

I have forked off some processes, and need to kill them.  I have the pid, so how do I kill them?

Use kill(). The syntax of the call is:

kill(pid, signum);

pid is the pid of the process to kill.  signum is how you want to signal the process.  If signum = 9, then it's an unconditional termination.  It's usually better to install a signal handler in your process so that it can terminate in an orderly fashion.
